BILL HRANEK
Bill Hranek has been entertaining in the Valley of the Sun for 40+ years. He picked up his first guitar for $50 when he was 19, he had a broken arm and was so determined to learn he cut the cast off himself, he had already been playing the harmonica for a couple of years while he was in the Navy. He started going to open mic nights and entering contests, people really liked his style. He started picking up gigs and has been going ever since. He has a request book of over 1000 songs.
He has played at many Clubs and Restaurants from Scottsdale Backstage, Marv’s, Metro Lounge, Dizzy’s, Hennesy’s , The Bright Angel Lodge at the Grand Canyon, The Library, Porky’s Back Yard, Mr. Lucky’s, Harvey’s at the Cresent Hotel, Gators, Tilly’s, Cougans, Rock Bottom, Sams Café, Hops, Majerles, Tailgaters, Tailgaters/Il Primo, Margaritaville, Cucina Tagliani’s, Macayos, That Brewery, The Fox & Hound, Luke AFB, Brio Tuscan Grill, Betty's Nosh, Lakeside Bar & Grill, Old County Inn/Taproom, Pinewood Tavern, Blackstone Country Club and many more. Bill also fronted a couple band’s (from 1984 thru 1991) and toured the southwest and some bars in Las Vegas and was the house band for 3 years at McKennas, down town.
In 1991 Bill went back to his roots and started soloing, In this same year Bill & Bridget started their DJ & Karaoke company. B&B Music now has one of the best DJ/VJ & Karaoke collections in the valley.
Bill has also MC/DJ many wedding receptions over the years in 2009 he received his "Credentials of Ministry" and has performed many ceremonies, he enjoys working with the couples from planning their ceremony to the details of their reception.
